Engineered for Precision

Compact yet powerful, the PMBP uses a mechanical conversion system that turns external pressure into additional sealing force, ensuring secure isolation even under high differentials.
Other element materials (Viton and Aflas) are available upon request. Each PMBP also includes a pump-through check valve option for added versatility.

Application

Versatile, compact, and built for performance, the PMBP is a trusted choice for multiple downhole operations.

Pressure Control
Reliable control for snubbing operations or temporary isolation.
Acts as a mechanical barrier to replace failed downhole components.
Ideal for coil tubing retrieval, providing a secure mechanical seal.
Enables coil tubing cleanouts and nitrogen purges via pump-through capability.

Compact Design. Reliable Isolation.

The Avalon PMBP (Permanent Miniature Bridge Plug) is engineered for restricted ID environments such as coiled tubing and small-bore tubing strings. The seal system is designed to maintain integrity across internal coil tubing seams. Optional pump-through check valves allow tubing to be purged or fluids displaced after the plug is set.

Designed for Small-Bore Conditions

The PMBP’s small outer diameter allows smooth deployment through restricted tubing while maintaining a fluid-tight seal against the tubing wall. It’s the ideal choice for high-pressure, high-temperature, or critical sour operations.

Select plug size based on actual tubing or pipe I.D.

Always verify coil tubing drift and weld conditions

Double barrier (two plugs) is recommended for safety-critical work

Specialized miniature cement bailer systems available for extreme operations

Built on Experience, Proven in the Field

With decades of design refinement behind it, the PMBP offers the perfect balance of precision engineering and rugged dependability, so you can trust it to perform when space, pressure, and temperature leave no margin for error.
